'PWA-->RESOURCES-->RESOURCE DETAILS' VIEW ISSUE question in SP2A?

Gary, Dale, Anyone......Help??

We applied SP2 for the client and SP2A for the Project Server early last
week.
We had a PM attempt to access PWA-->Resource-->VIEW ENTERPRISE RESOURCE
RESOURCES IN RESOURCE CENTER.
The default view for the 'VIEW ENTERPRISE RESOURCES IN RESOURCE CENTER' page
is 'Resource Summary' which displyas the resources without issues.

However, when changing the 'Choose a view' drop down to 'Resource Details',
we get the following error message.
Error Message: "An error occurred while trying to access the resources
stored on the database. Either there are too many resources, or the Project
Server may not have the correct DSN configuration. Contact the Server
Administrator."

The problem is once 'Resource Details' view is selected all other options
become unselectable and the grid which normally displays the resources is
collapsed with only the 'Print Grid' link and the 'Export Grid to Excel' link
displaying.

Any help anyone can provided is appreciated!

Yes, Our DBA successfully ran the UPGDB112.CMD against the database before
the SP2A update was applied.

David this is not a reply just to say that I have the same problem...
(upgrade WSS 2.0 then a few days after ProjectServer SP2a with upgdb112
correct).
I checked the DSN given by editsite under MSProjectServer user -> OK.
I tried to understand and to follow the MS Article 832588 without any success.
Project Server Projects page and users management are working properly.

Thanks for the reply Claude. It's good to know someone else has experienced
the same issue while following the KB article explicitly. The workaround for
us was to create a new view duplicating the 'Resource Details' view. The
plan is to eventually delete the offending 'Resource Details' view but we've
opted to just rename until we can get someone at Microsoft to confirm if this
is a known issue or not.

Thanks a lot.
After studying your email, I discovered that my problem could be fixed by
modifying my views.
I have RBS in a lot of filters and I added this field to be displayed (which
was not the case before without any problem).
Now the RBS field is displayed although I do not need it but I have no more
"An error occurred while trying to access the resources".

After SP2a, you must add any fields to a view that you're using to filter
the view. This was not the case prior to SP2a.

I had the same problem, when I checked the application log I found the
following message:
component: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Description:
Column names in each table must be
unique. Column name 'ResourceUniqueID' in table '#TempResView' is
specified more than once.

I edit the view and noticed that the view included the column
"ResourceUniqueID" twice (one column called "ResourceUniqueID"
and the other called "UniqueID") I removed the column
"ResourceUniqueID" from the view and saved. it worked.
