PWA resources usage doesn't agree with Project Pro resource usage

In our Project Server 2007 enviroment, there is a discrepancy for some
resources between the resource information in the PWA Data Analysis views and
the resource usage view in Project Professional. In Project Pro, when you
open a specific project plan, these resources will have hours listed in the
"Other projects and commitments" that appear to be double what is in the
actual projects.

Any ideas on what is causing these discrepancies?

Are you using the My Timesheet functionality? If so, the "Other projects
and commitments" section of the Resource Usage view will show My Timesheet
information. Try this:

1. Exit Project Professional 2007.
2. Launch Project Professional 2007 again.
3. In the Login dialog, deselect the "Load Summary Resource Assignments"
option.
4. Click the OK button.
5. Open the project again.

Do the numbers in Resource Usage now agree with the numbers in the Data
Analysis view? Let us know.
