PWA Task assignment Question

My question is while loggon to PWA as a project manager is it possibe to
assign team member who are resources tasks other then myself?
Or is there a special way of accomplishing this in PWA other than going back
to Project Pro and doing there and publishing the updates.
I thought it was indicated in the administrator guide that you can only
assign tasks to yourself from within PWA.
PWA is not an alternate for project pro. I need to indicate this to other
you are trying to assign others tasks within PWA

You need to assign resources to tasks in Microsoft Project Professional.
You cannot do this in PWA. Sorry.
