I removed an enterprise resource from an enterprise project task in Project
Pro. First I set remaining work to 0 for that resource. The task still
shows up in PWA when the resource views their task timesheet (for all tasks).
Now when they apply actual hours to the task and I try to approve it,
Project won't update actual hours for that resource who is no longer assigned
to that task.
The way I discovered this was that the project manager wanted to re-assign
this resource to the task I removed him from yesterday. So, I went into
Project Pro, opened the enterprise project and assigned the resource to the
task I had removed him from earlier. Now, the task shows up twice when the
resource views his tasks in PWA.
Is there any other way to fix this? Should I have handled this differently?
