PWA Timesheet Screen - How to set DEFAULT Filter

EPS2003 Timesheet screen - the filter drop down choice list - user selects
'Incomplete" task and all is fine until they login again. the filter setting
is gone back to All Tasks. Anyway to set this filter and have it stay in
place until user manually changes it to something else?
Our EPS2003 users are not very happy with this as their timesheet screen may
have a lot of tasks listed but they are only interested in ones showing as
incomplete? Any thoughts-suggestions on how to address this concern?
Thanks,
Jackie

There is no way to specify a default Filter on the View My Tasks page.
Instead, I would recommend your team members make sure that they are only
seeing Current tasks, and that they have the task list sorted by Start date.
Hope this helps.

Hello Dale,
Thank you for you prompt reply. However, this does not seem like a good
solution for the root problem. We never use current tasks as it does not
really fit our business proces and causes other problems. The root problem,
is the users are upset that they set their preferences and the next time they
login all those settings are gone. Any additional info on this topic would be
very helpful, such as is this type of functionality available in the EPS2007
version? I have not been able to find any references to this in the EPS2007
documentation.
thanks,
Jackie

There is no filter available on the My Tasks page in PWA 2007. By default,
the My Tasks page displays Current tasks only. The user can deselect this
option to display all tasks. Believe me, this will not solve your root
problem either. Though you may disagree, I think you need to address your
root problem with a methodology or process of some type, because I think
this is primarily a training and performance issue. Hope this helps.
