PWA Timesheet view Task showing as completed with remaining hours

Time Period Setting: Managed Time Periods

Problem: The PWA Timesheet view is showing a check mark indicator for
completion for task while there still are remaining hours for the resource in
the .mpp file (PRO).

What Happen? The resource ran out or hours and the task did roll off the
Current Task view in PWA. However, I realized that I needed to add more hours
so I increased the 0 remaining work hours to XX for the resource because this
is an operational project that is on going throughout the year.

Thereafter I republished the assignments (did not work) and then I tried
publishing all information. No avail.

My goal is to get task(s) showing back into the PWA Resource Timesheet,
Current Task view and have the check mark indicator removed.

Thank you!

Please try the following process to see if it clears up your problem:

1. Open the project in question
2. Select the task in question
3. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
4. Select the "Selected tasks" option at the top of the dialog
5. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option
6. Click OK

Let us know if this solves the problem.

Dale,

This is set up as a Managed Time Periods. Overwrite actual work entered by
resource is grayed out.

FYI: I read couple of your other solutions identical for this but it was for
non managed time periods.

Thank you for your genuine response!
