I have just installed Project Server 2007 on a Win2k3 R2 server with all the
locale settings set to English (Australia) with no problems.
I have also installed Project Pro 2007 on a XP SP2 machine running Office
2003 SP2 with all the locale settings set to English (Australia). When I
install the PWA2007 Outlook Add-in on this XP machine, the installation goes
fine, though as soon as I open Outlook 2003 I get the error "The language of
the Project Add-in for Outlook must match the language of Outlook. Uninstall
the add-in and reinstall a matching language version."
I have tried uninstalling the add-in, changing all the XP locale settings to
English (US) and removing all the English (Australia) locales, rebooting and
re-installing the add-in with no luck.
Looking at the technet article for installing the add-in (
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Offic...4ddd-4e53-8e63-2b96714576f21033.mspx?mfr=true
) it states the add-in will work on Outlook 2003 or greater, and there is no
mention of any language compatibility.
Going to MS Office 2007 is not an option for us.
Any MS MVP's out there who can shed some light on this would be greatly
appreciated...
Regards
Simon
