Q: I need a way to find out who is on a protected database...

Using Access 2000 on Windows 2000.

We have a database that multiple people have access to.
It's password protected.

We need a consistent way to find out who has the database
open. I tried the solution from Dev's site
(http://www.mvps.org/access/modules/mdl0055.htm) but that
doesn't seem to work with password protected databases.

So, any ideas?

thanks,
-Mark

Whats the error message? Is your system.mdw file distributed to the
users? That may be the problem but I know next to nothing about
security.

You may also want to ask in the security newsgroup.
