In Excel 2003; I have some Bevel type AutoShapes on a chart that
preform certain tasks for me. However I would like to make some of
these Bevel AutoShapes work more like a Toggle Button (but you can not
have Control buttons on a Chart). I tried playing with the Form
buttons, but they were no more help than an AutoShape.
I want some specific Bevel AutoShapes to looked depressed or inset
like a Toggle Button would when I click on it or when the code it
activates is active. I know this is going to take some VB code to
change the properties of the Bevel AutoShapes. I have tried many
different combination of AutoShape properties, but I can not find the
right combination. I usually get permission errors(yes I am the
creator and owner of the workbook and worksheet). Any help would be
appreciated.
P.S. Is there anyway or any utility that will allow me to see the
properties of Shapes and/or Controls on an Excel Chart. Anytime I
pick on the properties button in the workbook all I get is the
properties for the Chart and nothing underneath. From the VB Editor I
can access more information, but never enough to tell what properties
are associated with Shapes or Controls.
TIA,
Larry
