OK: I am producing object QTVRs on a Mac (10.5) for presentation by a
client in PPT 2008 on his Vista platform.
Yes, its messy. AND I have not visited this topic since 2004: Office
(!) Thankfully, there's no audio, of course.
IS this the best way [still?]:
Part A: Export:
In MacQTPro: File> Share > Share as Quicktime Movie; Options>
Cinepak for compression > 30fps, no data limit > Save; ship/deliver.
Part B: Insert:
Client inserts .mov into PPT 2007 as an
"object" (insert>Object>movie). Test and test again. Package.
Burn disc; burn back-up; post to website as emergency retrieval.
OR: [considered way]: Client inserts Action Button; Add
Hyperlink> .mov address in same folder
--- Does that mean it goes OUT to the QT player (Win)? Won't that
look BAAAAAD in a conference?? YES.
SO, my .mov needs to be *embedded*inside the PPT--- right? Buy me a
CLUE!
PLEEEZE relate your experience.... deadlines looming large!
Thanks.
