QTVR Powerpoint 2004

I have been using the Powerpoint X and recently upgraded to 2004. I
discovered that my qtvr which use to play in the older version did not play in
the latest version. I have had to go external with a hyperlink and launch the
files in QT. All of the documentation I can find simply says that the MAC
version for 2004 will play qtvr movies. Am I missing somthing here? It just
has a static picture when in a show but in the edit mode I can double click
the movie and it plays fine. I would rather than it work the other way
around but it does not seem to.

Yup .... Looks like yet another format that ppt 2004 CANNOT support .....
Loads the pic, auto runs by a few frames and leaves static blurred picture
..... But works in edit mode as you said, and older versions of ppt......
Same sort of thing as with swf files .... Both being interactive, I guess it
missed the quality control people at MS, aarr let me think, 2D v 3D thinking
..... I really hope no one got any bonus payments on the Powerpoint 2004
team, COS THE JOB AIN'T DONE!!!!!
