Quattro Pro vs Excel

Quattro Pro has a function called Abday, which allows you to count days not
including weekends, does Excel have a similar formula? Or does anyone know
how I could create one?

Take a look at Networkdays. You need to load the Toolpak Addin.
Tools>Addins and check Analysis Toolpak

=NETWORKDAYS(Startdate,enddate,holidays)
