Que not Processing

We upgraded our EPM install to SP2. It appears that the que is not open. I
tried to save and publish a project plan. The 5 resulting jobs are just
sitting in the que with a waiting to be processed comment. There aren't any
other jobs being processed or that have been processed. They have been
waiting for more than an hour. I tried to create a new project as a test and
the same thing happens. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi MAS,

You probably just need to restart the Project Server Queue Service. On
the application server, go to Start>Administrative Tools>Services.
Scroll down to find the Project Server Queue Service and click the
restart button.

You should see your queued jobs process very quickly once the service
restarts.

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I dop that? I was trying to find where
I could do it to no avail. I tried to reset the settings to the default
hoping that would trigger it. We never changed the settings from the default.

Even though the service showed as started, I stopped it and restarted it and
the que emptied. Thank you for your help.
