Queries and Report

Hi friends, i m facing one problem with report, (it is difficult for me to
explain but i will try my best)....actually i want to creat a database of
invoices...with page numbers.....and in report i wana creat a register, in
which both purchase and sales entery will occure.....the problem is that,
that i need a report in which, left side will come purchase entries that i
purchased goods.....now in right side sales entery will occure, here i want
an entries which i sold from that particular purchases.....(i.e...supose i
purchase some goods from invoice no. 1001, and i sold the same goods in my
invoice numbers like 5,9,15,26....Now the report should be...) (please note
that here i have to creat two tabels purchase and sales saperately)........
further that new purchase will come from next page...

As far as I have understood, your database is based on FIFO. If you want to
keep track of what has been sold any particular purchased invoice, you have
to create a field (purchase_invoice_no) same to the one in your purchased
invoices table. If its the same table then you must create an inner-join with
the type of the invoice.
I think you should concentrate on the structure of your database before you
can create any query based on your tables.
What is the purpose of your required report?

Hello once again,
I just want to print a purchase and sales report in one page.....but both are
linked to each other.....i want to print sales enteries against that
particular purchase entery...and want to maintain stock.......in detail let
me explain like this...,
look i took few purchase bill entries by giving them numbers (that is call
page no.),
now against that purchases i issue some sales invoices.....suppose i have to
issue 100 no. of pen by sales invoice.....but i took purchase of pen in
multipal quantities like in first purchase i got 20 pen, than in second
purchase i got 50 pen...like wise....
now if i have to issue sales bill of 100 no. of pen i must have to use more
than one purchases.....
here first i use a purchase bill in which i got 20 pen, than second sales
invoice of 50 pen.....like that....(hop u got the point.).....here i need to
print that few sales invoice of 100 pen against that particulars purchases
(first sales invoice will print in first page because i took it from first
page, than if i took second sales invoice from third purchase than the third
sales invoice will print in that third page.....like wise....)......
