Queries time out

Hi All,
I created a report tool in Access 2003 that links to a SQL server 2000 SP3
database. I have the exact reporting tool in 20 branches. in one out of the
20 I get a timeout and the debug screen comes up. the sever I am trying to
run the report on is win 2000 advanced server.

Does anyone know of a setting I may be missing?

Joe,

Perhaps you should post the same question to this forum several more times.

If you are using Access native ability to connect to SQL (adp file) server
you might want to check the "Connection Timeout" setting in the
\\File\Connection menu and under the "Advanced" tab. If there is no setting
set it to something reasonable say 60 seconds.

Unfortyunatly this new version errored twice before it said the post went
thru.
