Queries won't save in landscape

No matter what I do, I cannot get my queries to save with page setup as
landscape.
I have repeatedly gone to File/Page Setup whilst in View mode and changed it
to landscape and then saved, and I have also tried doing it in print preview.
It's fine while I am in it, but as soon as I leave the query and then come
back in, it has defaulted to portrait again. Grrrrrrrrr................
Surely it's possible - or is it not??
Thanks

Roger -
Yes, I agree that reports generally are better. But sometimes we need stuff
on the fly and/or there are too many columns to be displayed on a report,
and/or it takes time to fiddle around with the layout to get everything to be
visible.
That's when we like to use queries.
So, back to my question if I may: is it possible, or not?
Thanks

No, it's not possible to save a query orientation.
They are just not (like tables as well) designed for printing.
As Roger stated, create a report.

Oh well - thanks for the clarification anyway, at least I know not to
struggle with it any more!
