Thanks a million it worked!!

I now need a similar scenario but with the last 2 Readings

So I have my last Reading Tbl with the queries that
calculate and append into it. (Last Reading Qry & Append
Last Reading Qry) Into Last Reading Tbl
I have created the same Qry as you mentioned below Named
(Last 2 Readings) and then my Append Qry (Append Last 2
Readings) using Last Reading Only Tbl and Last 2
Readings Qry to Append into Last Two Readings Tbl.

I am having trouble getting the Macro to work

Open tbl - Last Two Readings Tbl
Open qry - Delete Last Two Readings Tbl
Open qry - Last Reading Qry
Open qry - Append Last 2 Readings Qry
Open tbl - Last Reading Tbl
Open qry - Delete Last Reading Tbl
Open qry - Last Reading Qry
Open qry - Append Last Reading Qry

It is falling down along the way and not giving me the
correct info in the Last Two Readings Tbl.

Could you advise or suggest an excellent book for Access,
I have a good understanding of the basics and plenty of
books. But cant find a book that is more detailed in
Queries.
