Query Calculation

Trying to design a cash book with a running balance
calculated field. For example a deposit field, a
withdrawal field and a calculated balance field. After
entering the opening balance in the deposit field the
calculated field would be deposit minus payment. When
entering the next record for example an amount in the
withdrawal field - how would I deduct this from the
balance on the previous record to show the new balance?
