Query Date Parameter

I have written a query / report in which I have date
parameter criteria "Between [Start] and [End]" which works
terrific for a range of dates. I now need to add another
query / report in which I need to specify a single date.
Everything I have tried either errors or finds no records.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
