Query for form filter stopped allowing additional records

[SC in Texas]

I have a form used to assign work orders to a particular crew member.
it has been working well until the past few days.
When I set up a filter on the table to restrict to the crew member, it
allows edits and adding new records. When I restrict to a particular date,
it allows edits but does not allow adding new records. Any ideas why the
change.

Hi,
this is just a guess
open the form in design view
look on the properties sheet on the data tab
find the Data Entry property
if the data entry property is set to No this would explain why you can't add
new records
change the data entry property to Yes, save the form and you should be right
to enter new data
