I am using MS Access 2007 and I really like the idea of using it to
query an Excel spreadsheet. The problem that I'm having is that an
updated spreadsheet is posted once a week and its filename changes to
reflect the date of the posting. The one and only tab in the
spreadsheet also changes to reflect the current date. Is there a way
to program this "change in names" into Access so that the import and
queries that I set up will still work with the latest posted
spreadsheet?
Also, the data in the spreadsheet is identical from week to week. The
records may change but the column headings are always the same. Many
thanks.
