query macro

hi... again!
I hope I'm not overusing this newsgroup by posting all
these questions...
Anyway, I was wondering if it's possible to create
a "Search Macro" (or something similar), where a user
could search my database using various parameters without
having to know anything about queries. I basically would
like to have a macro where the user could type in search
words in different fields and the macro would run the
query and produce the results. Is this possible? If so,
how hard would it be to accomplish it?

VBA would be the way togo. use the filter property of the form fields.

for a complete novice, very hard.
however a great learning experience
