Query result with crosshair to show more details from another table/query

Hi, i don't know if i'll explain this properly but i
developed a query before but can't remember how i did it.

The basic result I need is that row 1: mr.smith.
I want the query result to have a cross hair "+" on the
left of the results, when this is clicked, details about
mr.smith from another query are displayed.

I probably haven't worded that correctly but if anyone
could point me in the right direction for doing this, i'd
appreciate it.
