Hello,

I have created a 4 view form from a SQL data source and saves to that data
source and also to the Sharepoint library. There is a main page from which
the user can navigate to the 'Data entry' page and also to a 'Query' page. If
the user runs a query the button runs the query and takes the user to a
'Query return' page that is supposed to display some basic information not
everything that is captured in the data entry page. Unfortunately the query
runs and the view changes but nothing show on the new page (and yes I used
data fields not query fields in the query return page) but if the user clicks
the button to the data entry page is has the query results that I wanted (but
way too much info).

Help please and thanks,

I can't believe it and I even double checked this but it was Query
field. Now the next thing is...
Is there a way to keep this information from showing up in the data
entry view? And if not how do I clear the data entry view with a button
click that way I can set it up as a rule so that when the user changes
views the form clears out?

Thank you,
Nick

I also tried to use the 'New Record' to accomplish this but that action
takes me to my main navigation page not my 'Data Entry' page. I also
see there is a 'set a fields value' in the actions drop down list.
Would this clear out my database data that was returned from the
previous query? or is there a way to redirect the 'New Record' button?
thanks
