I don't know if this question is in the correct topic, however:
I have an Access 2002 front-end that connects to a SQL Svr 2000 back-end via
linked tables. I have an Access query that connects five or so tables
together and selects data based on criteria. When I specify text in the
criteria of a text field (i.e. "John") the query returns mostly records with
'John' in that field, but also some records with 'Harry' in the field. When I
change the property of the query to "snapshot" from "dynaset", only 'John'
records are returned.
Anyone seen this happen or have an idea why?
