Querying from a form

Hi!

Can anyone help me with this? I'm using MS Access 2000

I Have a SQL-query:

SELECT SUM(Table.Column) As Total
FROM Table
WHERE Table.Date = (Form.Control.Value)

I need help with that Form.Control.Value thing, what is
the correct syntax if I'd like to query from a control
which is in a form.
