Along time ago, I helped write a database in Access 97. Since then I've left
that company but I took a copy of the database for my records. Now I want to
access it again from Access 2002 and I get this error:
The current user account doesn't have permission to convert or enable this
database.
It goes on to say stuff about joining the correct workgroup. Now I do
remember when designing this, I did have a workgroup created and I did need
to join it. 10 years later I do not know what that workgroup was called.
I know I will need to convert the database to 2002 format, but it won't let
me do anything with it until getting past this point. I do have full system
admin rights on the 2000 workstation I'm using.
Is there anyway around this, or anyway to see what the old .MDW file
contained as far as user groups so that maybe I would remember the name?
Thanks
