question about documment recovery

hello everybody/

u have been working on a document' and suddenly i had to leave my home.
i left the computer running and the WORD working.
when i came back home i accidently closed the WORD window and told him NOT
to save changes made.
is there anyway to recover the document??? its important.

i checked the AutoRecovery optiong and it is turned on, and the Autosave
interval is 10 minutes.

Jones,

Sorry your unsaved work is gone. Word responsed like you asked and like
most of us are grateful for everyday. Could you imagine the disappointment
if we asked Word to save and it didn't or told Word not to save, as in your
case, and it did?

A habit to cultivate and prevent future disappointment like yours is to save
frequently. Pausing briefly to press CTRL+s as you work can minimize lost
work.
