when I type =random as a function and fill in to the
bottom of my rows, Excel returns what I want: namely, a
column of 0s and 1s in (pseudo?)random order based on
probability of 1 50% of the time (like flipping a coin).
However, I can't figure out what seed Excel is using to
generate these numbers or how to change the seed. As a
result, I get the same list of 0s and 1s each time I use
this function in a column, whereas I would like to be able
to create a new random list of 0s and 1s which does not
duplicate the first column.
Thanks for any help!
