question about restoring archived workspace

Our group has a workspace that went bad, so I am deleting, then will restore
an archived version of the workspace.

My question is, do I have to wait for the old version to be absent from
every member's version of Groove before loading up the archived one? I don't
know if the archived version will overwrite the old bad workspace or if there
will be some kind of conflict.

No; when you restore a Groove space archive, this effectively creates a new
workspace; it won't interfere with the original.

Dear Fbarbeite,

According to your case log, please understand that when you remove the bad
workspace and restore an Archive version, then this workspace you resotred is
a totally new one and it will not have any relationship with the bad one.

archiving/backup features.
