If someone could help me with these problems, it would be great!. I tried many, many before i got here, but couldn't get it right

1) I want to print X-axis values on intervals if the number of X-labels becomes too large. So i use TickMarkerSpacing and TickLabelSpacing and it works fine. But one problem is that i would like the *first* label (btw. the x-values i use are dates ) to be displayed on the *first* x-value at the graph and don't want OWC control it himself where the first tick/label gets placed. Is there a workaround for this

2) Maybe a but difficult to explain, but
In a bargraph which displays certain values, I want to show one LINEgraph as well, in a certain color. this line has to 'follow' the exact widths of the rest of the bargraph, so just as a square-block like the way the bargraphs are displayed so to say. Now i cannot get this to work, because this graph just makes straight lines from the first point to the second to the third etc.etc. and this is not what i want. I want it tio be a block graph, but it *only may have* an outline , so it *stays* a line in the graph ands is not being displayed exactly like a bargraph (=with vertical lines all the way down to the x-asis as is the way a bargraph is displayed). So i only want this line to act as a sort of 'trend' so to say

I hope its a little bit clear what i need
Thx in advance
