Hello,
Our current environment is 99% Office 2003. I have created a MSP file for
use in an Office 2007 deployment. The installation using the MSP file is
working great for those people.
However, I have a few people that had already upgraded Outlook to the 2007
version. The remaining Office programs are still 2003. When running the same
Setup (with the MSP file), it prompts the user whether they want to repair,
add/remove, etc. I need to have this install totally silent.
Is there a trick to running Setup so that it will still run silently? For
the people that have all Office 2003 programs installed the Setup is totally
silent. I need Setup to ignore the Outlook 2007 and only remove the other
programs and install the upgrade. Apparently since Setup sees the 2007
vversion of Outlook it presumes that Office 2007 is already installed.
Thanks,
Robert
