Question about viewing size

P Jones

For some reason, every OneNote entry has become reduced in size. This isn't a
global font problem - the font is a reasonable size. Also, when a past text
into OneNote, the entry is very small as well. Is there a default/global
switch for viewing size?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

If you go to Tools | Options | Editing what font size is shown in the
Default Font section (towards the bottom of the pane)?

Andrew,

I did try that. (I had increased the font to 20.) But that did not resolve
the problem. It seems that there should be some global switch for
magnification.

That sound distinctly odd. I assume that the problem you describe is
only affecting OneNote.

Why not email me a screen shot / screen clipping of the appearance?

The default font size is 20.

Hmm... Isn't it simply the zoom that is not 100%?

You can access zoom using CTRL-mouse wheel or in the main toolbar (you might
have to expand the toolbar to see it.

I found the Zoom tool by expanding the tool bar. I have no idea what I did to
reduce all images, but I now know how to fix it. Thanks.

I notice that you're in OneNote development, so I wanted to say that OneNote
is really a great program. As a writer, I rely on the program almost as much
as Word.

I know what you're saying... I was trying to undo something with Ctrl
+ z that everything kept getting magnified. I have not been able to
shrink things (including images) back to their normal size. Please
share your solution if you figured what's wrong.

Thanks,
Amir

Actually my friend, I just realized this is the same
magnification/shrinkage you get with all other MS products when you
press Ctrl and turn your mouse wheel. Hope this helps!

Amir
