Question for ON 07 users also using Outlook 07

GobinderConvert?

I have ON07 running with Outlook 2003. I am wondering what, if any,
additional integration is available with Outlook 07?

Specifically, I am hoping that you can set a preference that will
automatically call ON when you open an appointment, the result being a
onenote page associated with that meeting. The ON button is good in OL2003
, but I would rather have the note open automatically.

( It's hard to remember which appointments have associated ON note pages and
which do not... Maybe another way would be to provide a link icon on the
outlook note page to show that there is an associated ON note page...)

Any other improvements?

AFAIK, there isn't any difference between OL03 and OL07 in regards to ON
integration. But I could be wrong, because I haven't seen or touched
OL03 since November...

You don't see a link in the notes section of the OL appointment back to
ON?

That's a shame, a missed opportunity. A couple of hooks between them could
really make the package irresistible. Even add an option to make the whole
notes area a onenote page... for tasks and appointments...

I don't see anything in Outlook. There is a link in the Onenote page to go
back to the Outlook appointment, but not the reverse. I'd like to see a
similar link placed in Outlook so I could see at a glance that there is an
associated ON page.

The alternative is to click the Onenote icon in the menubar. This will open
the onenote page if it exists, but otherwise creates a new blank.

Missed opportunity? I have been using Outlook 2007, don't work for
Microsoft and Outlook 2003 should work the same when it comes to
integrating with 2007.

Go on connect.microsoft.com and sign up for the OneNote connection.
Submit this as feedback there to Microsoft. There should be a link back
to OneNote in the notes section of the Outlook item.

I fully agree. It does not make too much senses otherwise.

Do as Patrick advised. Post it in Connect.
