My corporation has established SMS 2.x and uses it to deploy Office XP SP3
to staff's machines (Windows XP & 2000). We define a SMS package that
includes OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-client-enu.exe program and specify the command
argument /Q for quite mode running (i.e. without user interaction). The
package has been successfully advertised and delivered to staff's machines.
However, when the program executes to the end, there is still a pretty lousy
confirmation dialog to require our staff to click the "OK" button.
Unfortunately, if the dialog is not suppressed, SMS server will not
recognize that the whole package has been successfully completed with SMS
status code 10008. Does anyone have the same experience with this situation?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
