I just got my Outlook 2003 to run under Vista. I am trying to set the
Registry to allow 20 gig PST. The Micosoft KB says that I need to make 4
entries in the registry.... as follows:
MaxLargeFileSize REG_DWORD 0x00005000 20,480 (20 GB)
WarnLargeFileSize REG_DWORD 0x00004C00 19,456 (19 GB)
MaxFileSize REG_DWORD 0x7BB04400 2,075,149,312 (1.933 GB)
WarnFileSize REG_DWORD 0x74404400 1,950,368,768 (1.816 GB)
There was no "PST key or any entries so I created them, but I cannot seem to
enter any "x" characters in the DWORD field. So I did o a cut and paste but
the final decimal numbers all look the same:
MaxLargeFileSize REG_DWORD 0x417bb044 (1098625092)
WarnLargeFileSize REG_DWORD 0x41000050 (1090519120)
MaxFileSize REG_DWORD 0x41744044 (1098137668)
WarnFileSize REG_DWORD 0x4100004c (1090519116)
So am concerned I have limited the PST sizes.
Also, I do not add any PST entry and leave it as it is, do the UNICODE PST
default to 20 gig anyway and i can skip all this?
Thanks
