question on script error

Guest

Outlook 2003 was installed. I installed office 2000 with
everything but Access and tools disabled. upon opening
Outlook 2003 I get an Internet Explorer Script Error
Line: 298
Char: 1
Error: Class not registered
Code: 0
URL: outlook:today
Do you want to continue running scripts on this
page? Y?N
told the guy who insisted on this, that problems may arise
from having 2000/and 2003...

already have enabled-- disable script debugging and
disabled--- display a notification about every script
error in IE options

any Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance...

It's never a good idea to try installing different versions of Office or
Outlook on a computer. Have the person reinstall Outlook 2003. If the rest
of Office is at 2000 levels they won't be able to use Word as the email
editor, the versions of Word and Outlook must match.
