question regarding the bundled PDF conversion tool with Office 07

I believe the application is called Complete PDF. Is this just a trial to
test the functionality, or is there a built in PDF conversion functionality
within Office 07? This information would help me considerably.

Thanks for your time,

The PDF capability isn't a trial but it is a separate add-in. Originally it
was part of the Office installation but Adobe and MS went to court over and
well, since it was removed and is now a free download, you can figure out
who won. ;-)

The best way to install it is to click the Microsoft Office Button, point to
Save As and then use the link along the lines of "Find additional add-ins".
I forget the exact wording but it's below the Save As 97-2003 file format
command.

Thanks so much for both of the replies. Basically, now the file can be saved
as a PDF, however PDF complete allowed permissions to be set, and passwords
as well. My guess is that those options are not part of the free download
option. the user would now do a save as, as opposed to choosing and Adobe
Printer or selecting Convert ot PDF from the Add-ons menu. Is that correct??

Correct. Those options aren't part of the free download, it only saves as
PDF with limited options. And yes, one can use Save As and select the *.pdf
file type.
