question regarding VB Macros.

Hi,

I would like a macro in WORD to return a value so that I can call the
function as I would normally do it in ACCESS.

I know I am asking this question in the wrong forum.. but really I dont
know where to post this.

I would appreciate any sorts of help on this matter

There are a number of newsgroups specific to Word that all start
microsoft.public.word, including 5 that are specific to VBA in Word.

I'd think your best bet would be either microsoft.public.word.vba.general or
microsoft.public.word.vba.beginners.
