Question - Save As in Office 2004

I have a question about whether an annoying bug in Office v.X is fixed
in 2004. Here's how to see the bug:

- Open a word document A that is stored on your Desktop

- Make a change to document A and save it - this sets the "current
directory" to the Desktop

- Now open another document B, several folders deep in a folder hierarchy

- make some changes to document B and select Save As...

- Instead of putting you at the location of Document B, you are at the
Desktop and you have to navigate several folders down to get back to the
document B directory

This is really annoying when you want to make a small change to a
document and save a changed version to the same folder as the original.
I have a lot of users to support who complain about this. Is it fixed
in Office 2004?

I can't reproduce this using your steps in either XL v.X or XL 2004.
When I choose Save As in either document, the Save As dialog defaults to
the active document's folder.

This is using Word 10.1.5 and Word 2004 in OS 10.3.3.

That's odd because my users have reported this since we switched to v.X.
I can reproduce this consistently on Mac OS 10.2.6, 10.2.8, 10.3.2, and
10.3.3 and Word and Excel updated to 10.1.5.
