Question: Super Suite Deal Promotion

Has anyone who has taken advantage of Microsoft's buy-Office-2004, get-Office-2008 promotion actually received a copy of Office 2008 yet? I bought Office 2004 just before Office 2008 came out, and I sent in the form right away (along with the box top and receipt). I have heard nothing in about 6 weeks, and I wish there were a way to check on whether my form was received. I'm concerned that perhaps the envelope I sent the box top in got lost in the mail, in which case I believe I'd be pretty screwed.

Just thought I'd check and see if people who sent in their Super Suite Deal forms in early January have received their copies of Office 2008 yet.

I've received several email notifications saying that the ship
date has been pushed back. The last one I got said my ship date
was 2/18 but I still haven't received it.

I'd also like to know if there is a way to check on the status.

Same here! My last notification said 3/10/2008. I'm starting to wonder
if this is some Microsoft ploy to get out of sending the almost-free
products out (delay, delay, delay again, until people simply forget
about it or cancel the order in disgust.) I am beginning to doubt I will
ever receive it, to be honest.

You can call the phone number in the email. They will tell you the
status of the order. Also, the email has a link to an order status page
- mine shows the order is "In Processing", whatever that means.

Good deal.

I'll give them a call Monday if it doesn't show up.
I'm not *that* anxious to use it till the first round
of patches hit the streets anyway.

Thanks.

My email has a phone number but no linky.

Could you post the URL, or is it a specific link for your order?

Sorry, but WHAT e-mail?? I sent in the paper form I downloaded from the site and have heard absolutely nothing since. Is there some list I should be on? I have a sinking feeling I just blew hundreds of dollars on Office 2004 for nothing... help! :-(
