Questions about Outlook BCM

I am a longtime Office and Outlook 2007 user. I just started playing with
BCM to see if it meets my needs. Can you help me understand the following:

How can I leverage my current outlook contact list without duplicating it in
BCM?

I store all my emails, contacts, calander in a offline PST. How does BCM
save its data and where?
