Questions on background and jumping to bookmarks.

Two questions: I'm using FP2003. In general things are moving well.

1. I set the backgrounds to a picture which is associated with a .dwt.
Everything looks fine in FrontPage but when published and observed with
internet explorer the background becomes a solid blue. What am I doing
wrong?

2. When I go to a bookmark using an < a name="name"><a> the window appears
with the point where the < a name="name"><a> is at the bottom of the shown
page. I want it at the top of the page. How do I do that?

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his
absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must
delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has
ceased to be a great power among men. --W. Churchill

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

1) You are using a theme (water) which is controlling the background image (named background_water.gif)
If you look at that image it is blue at
http://www.sea-room.com/_themes/water/background_water.gif
- that is what you are getting for your theme settings selected
- check your theme option for Active Graphics and Vivid Colors which may have other images

2) Anchors should never be empty (as in < a name="name"><a>)
Select your a word (text) or image at the top of the page to bookmark and use Insert Bookmark to get
<a name="yourname">Some Text that was selected<a>

| The URL is www.sea-room.com.
| Thanks for any help.

Wow, thanks Stefan, precis and effective right to to the point.

A shock though. I thought I could safely ignore themes because I didn't
understand them. Clearly I better learn them.

I can't publish at this moment because I'm getting confusing answers from my
service. On the one hand, I'm suppose to tell my "remote web site
properties that I seek http://www.sea-room.com/httpdocs and other staffers
tell me that my user name is "sea-room". But the former doesn't work.

If your host has the site set up correctly for Http publishing under the FP SE do not use httpdocs
Just use your URL as http://www.sea-room.com/
