We encountered an issue with one shared mailbox last week. This shared
mailbox is accessed by 34 people using Outlook 2003 client. The issue is
that suddenly, incoming emails are not being delivered to the mailbox. We
did not have problems sending email from this mailbox. Our admin checked and
saw that the emails are just queued but they can't find anything wrong with
the server. No other emails (personal and shared mailboxes) were
experiencing the same issue.
As a last resort, we recreated the mailbox, after which, everything worked
fine. Still, the queued emails were not delivered until they reached the
expiry duration and a notification was sent to the sender.
Can you please advise what we can check on the server or on the clients,
which may have caused this issue? We're worried that this issue may happen
again.
