Quick Click Permanent Assignment

When I change the quick click assignment (from red to purple) and close the
window, the next time I load Outlook, it reassigns the quick click to red. It
works fine before closing. Any tips on how to keep the assignment permanent?

Verify that outlook closes completely when you close it - look in in Task
Manager, Processes tab a few minutes after you close outlook and see if
outlook.exe is still listed.

if it is closed, is this your computer at work? if so, do you know if there
are global policies?

Sorry, but the process was ended before restarting it. Also sorry, but I
don't understand your questions...

A few more specifics: I've tried using both the drop down menu in the
toolbar at the top and right clicking the quick click category button beside
objects, but neither has a different result. Again, it just doesn't work the
next time I load Outlook.
