Quick parts disabled

Hi,
I am trying to create some email templates. I am following the MS
instructions for quick parts, but my quick parts button in the new message is
disabled.

Does anyone know what is wrong? I assume it is a setting.

Did you install Outlook 2007 and Word 2007 from the same Office 2007 package?

Hi Sue,
I only installed Outlook 07, I do not have Word 07. When I first used
outlook, I was able to see the quick parts. Now, the ribbon is visible, but
all the buttons are disabled.

Any ideas?

That's the problem, then. YOu need Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 installed from the same package in order to use Quick Parts. I've blogged about this at http://turtleflock-ol2007.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!C1013F1F9A99E3D8!587.entry
