Does Word for Mac have Quick parts, if so, how do I use it?

Well, it depends on exactly what you're looking for :) "Quick Parts" is a
new term in Word 2007 for a "feature" which aggregates a number of old
features as well as some new ones under one huge umbrella as a holy mess.

Many of the same types of items can be found in Word 2008 as Document
Elements [in the Elements Gallery], Insert> AutoText, Insert> Watermark &
File> Project Gallery among others. Others can be created using Text Boxes
or other content formatted as you see fit.

Not "really". The structures are there in the templates, but for the most
part, Word 2008 doesn't know what to do with them.

The user interface is not implemented yet, and only a few types are
available: mainly AutoText.

TOC, Headers, Footers, Cover Pages and Bibliography are there under Document
Elements.

If you know what you are doing, you can edit these in Word 2007 and the
changes will stick in Office 2008. But if you add any kinds that Office
2008 does not know about, they will not be visible.

I would wait for the next version to play around with Quick Parts, if I were
you.

Cheers
