Hello Gloria,
You can also print a list of all the standard keyboard shortcuts in Word.
The list is very long. Details of the rather convoluted procedure for doing
this are under the heading 'Standard keyboard shortcuts in Word' in some
notes on the way I use Word for the Mac, titled "Bend Word to Your Will",
which are available as a free download from the Word MVPs' website
(
http://word.mvps.org/Mac/Bend/BendWordToYourWill.html).
This article includes a short-list of the most useful shortcuts.
Following that, under a heading 'Examples of keyboard shortcuts I¹ve
assigned', is information which you might also find useful.
Finally, "Bend Word to Your Will" contains work-arounds for Apple's recent
delinquency in assigning prime Microsoft Office keyboard shortcuts to OS X
functions from memory F9-F12, Control-spacebar and Command-Option-minus.
See page 20.
[Note: "Bend Word to your will" is designed to be used electronically and
most subjects are self-contained dictionary-style entries. If you decide to
read more widely than the item I've referred to, it's important to read the
front end of the document -- especially pages 3 and 5 -- so you can select
some Word settings that will allow you to use the document effectively.]
