Quick Time Movies in Powerpoint 2004

Barry

I am having trouble with running Quick Time Movies in the Slide Show
mode with 2004. The movies are not running smoothly...very haltingly.
In the normal view it runs fine. Ironically, I reopened Powerpoint
OS X and it runs perfectly.
Any suggestion?
Thanks!

I don't think that this is your problem, but I thought that PowerPoint
2004 was not compatible with PowerPoint X. That is, you have to
uninstall X before installing 2004. I could be wrong about this (I still
use X).

I share the same frustation with you. I have complained to microsoft and
got no answer. Please look at the e-mail send.

Hello!
I just installed the new microsoft office 2004. It looks beautiful. However,
when I run my previous powerpoint presentation which contains MPGE-2
and AVI videos something goes wrong. I am able to run it smooth and nicely
in the slide view but when I start the slide show the video stop to work or
goes very slow. That have never happen in the version of powerpoint from
Ofiice V.X. What have microsoft done? This is very frustrating for someone
that have been waiting for a better version.
I would appreciate if there is any recommendation from anyone. I have a
powerbook (superdrive, 1,5GHz G4).
Thank you

Similar problem here. All is fine in the slide view, but the colours are all
wrong during the slide show. this has to be a bug.
