What is the quickest, fastest way to access a sheet of info which i need to refer to all the time? Is it possible to put the sheet in the dock or is there a better way...please advise.

Hi Enid -

Do you mean getting to a certain work*sheet* in a workbook or being able to
quickly access a specific work*book*?

You can't add a sheet to the Dock, but you can add the workbook file
containing that sheet. Just navigate to the file in a Finder window then
drag it to the Dock. That's probably the fastest way to be able to open the
file on demand at any time.

You can also add it to the Login Items for your OS X User Account so the
file will open every time you log in. There's a checkbox to Hide if you just
want it to open but not necessarily be viewed until you're ready for it.
Then just Command+Tab to it or select it from the Dock if you aren't already
in Excel. If you are using a different Excel file Command+~ or Control+Tab
will bring the window to the front. [Actually cycles through open windows.]

If you mean quick access to a specific sheet in a file you're using one of
the quickest ways is to create a Named Range on that sheet. It can be
selected from the Name Box at the left end of the Formula Bar when you're in
that file.
